Press Record during a call and SIPdia writes a WAV file to your Mac or to the Files app on your iPhone. No cloud, no upload.

Shown with demo accounts and sample numbers.
| Platform | Location | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Mac | Music > Call Recordings | Choose another folder in Settings; the app keeps a secure bookmark to it. Move to Trash from the Recordings page. |
| iPhone and iPad | Files > On My iPhone > SIPdia > Call Recordings | Play and share from the Recordings tab. Deleting the app deletes the files. |
Call recording laws differ by country and, in some places, by state or province. Some require one party's consent, others require everyone on the call to agree, and workplaces often add their own rules. SIPdia gives you the tool and the reminder; you are responsible for using it lawfully. This page is not legal advice.
On the Mac, in Music > Call Recordings by default, or a folder you choose. On iPhone and iPad, in Files > On My iPhone > SIPdia > Call Recordings. Nothing is uploaded.
WAV files, which most audio apps and media players can play.
No. Each call can be recorded once. Stopping and restarting would overwrite the file in the call engine, so SIPdia prevents it.
Not by SIPdia. Before recording starts the app reminds you of this, with a Don't ask again option. Whether you must announce a recording depends on the laws where you and the other party are; check before you record.
Yes. Starting a recording is part of SIPdia Premium. Stopping a recording always works.
Bring the SIP account you already have. The Mac and iPhone apps are in release preparation; download links appear on the download page when each release is live.
